I was working for client based in London (United Kingdom) and conducting UX research, testing my designs with users and maintaining pattern library.. I helped to deliver brand new design guide, redesigned sales department dashboard, created various pages for the software and ensured smooth coomunication among all the teams.
I was responsible for creating consistent pattern library and implementing UI assets into software. I worked on many different pages throughout the system, but I will show my progress in one specific project.
aBillity is the software, that helps for the customers to perform various tasks and I had to design a page, that allows to manage bill runs and modify reports.
Development process started with collecting all the information about the system and understanding user flow. Then usually it's followed by mindmap, rough sketches and wireframes. When wireframes was approved, I designed quick prototypes with HTML/CSS or with Adobe Illustrator. During every step, I was talking with excisting users, testing new prototypes or enquiring about functionality, that previous software was missing.
During my time in Union Street Technologies, I had many responsibilities and I was able to approach new projects with different methods. Most of the new pages was succesful and clients left excellent feedback for the new approach, neat interface and easy user experience.
